The Indianola volleyball team went 4-1 at the Harlan Invite Tournament Saturday, taking down Underwood, Tri-Center, Harlan, and Sidney, but falling to Treynor. The Indians defeated Underwood 21-13 and 21-15, Tri-Center 18-21, 21-18, and 15-13, Harlan 21-10 and 21-11, and Sidney 21-17, 17-21, and 15-7, while dropping the match against Treynor 21-18, 19-21, and 11-15.
Head coach Kent Halstead tells KNIA News the squad bring back a lot of contributors from last season, and he feels this team has bought in and did the offseason work to be able to succeed.
The Indians improve to 4-2 on the season, and begin Little Hawkeye Conference play on Tuesday at Pella.
