A fire broke out at TruBank in Indianola Sunday night, causing significant damage to the building. Indianola Fire Chief Greg Chia tells KNIA News the Indianola Fire Department and three surrounding departments responded to the structure fire just after 9pm, with first arriving crews observing smoke coming from one of the windows in the southeast portion of the building. Upon entering the facility, fire was noted in several areas and extinguished.

An investigation of the cause of the fire is ongoing, and there were no injuries during this fire event with extensive damage to the structure.
