September is Emergency Preparedness Month, a month to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time, with the 2021 theme of “Prepare to Protect.” Preparing for disasters is protecting everyone you love”. Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator Troy Bass tells KNIA News a lot of emergency preparedness can be as simple as making sure you have an ample supply of everyday items you use, in addition to items such as a flashlight, batteries, or whatever you may need. Bass also said if anyone has any questions on how to prepare for an emergency, they should contact their local emergency management office. To hear the full interview, click below.
