Three individuals were injured, including two minors, in a crash Tuesday evening at the intersection of Oskaloosa and Clark Streets in Pella.

According to the Pella Police Department, a semi driver failed to yield at the traffic light, and slammed into a van on the driver’s side. Three units from Pella Ambulance responded to the scene, and all were transported with injuries. One of the children was flown by helicopter to Des Moines, but all who were treated did not have life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the semi was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
