The Melcher-Dallas Football Squad will take on Baxter tonight in a week two contest. The Saints were held to 38 yards total offense by Mormon Trail last Friday in a 74-6 defeat. Baxter will also be a tough out for the Saints as the Bolts gained 245 yards of offense in a 48-20 win over Colo-NESCO last week. Saints Coach Pat Ferguson tells KNIA Sports Baxter will be one of the teams to beat in District seven.

Ferguson:
“They’re up toward the top in the district, and I see they got a win over Colo-NESCO, and they’re going to be big, fast and athletic along with being experienced.

Kick off is scheduled for 7:00 in Baxter.
