Pella area residents had success in the competitions 2021 Iowa State Fair.

Grapes and Small Fruits champions claimed their prizes in Fruit Crop Judging at the 2021 Iowa State Fair. Atticus Vos of Pella earned recognition in 14 categories, including nine 1st place ribbons.

Grand Champion Purebred Bull was awarded to JVM Cattle Company of Pella at the South Devon Cattle show, as was Reserve Grand Champion Purebred Female, with several first place finishes in individual categories. JVM and Blueprint Cattle of Otley also earned individual category honors in the Prospect Cattle show.

Brenda Klyn of Pella claimed second place in the Marshmallow Treat Sculpting contest and 1st place in the adult category.

First place honors in the English Society Horse Show went to Plain View Farm of Pella in three categories.
