The Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad battles Moravia in a “home” match at Southeast Warren. The Saints are being forced to use Southeast Warren’s Gym as their home this season due to repairs going on at Melcher-Dallas High School Gym. The Saints are 0-2 on the season. In cross country, runner Addison Wadle will head to Central Decatur for a meet. Coach Amy Stuart tells KNIA Sports, with just one high school runner this season she has a different way of conducting practice while still allowing Wadle to get her runs in.

Stuart:
“On the longer runs I brought my bike over, and on the shorter runs I really don’t need her to slow down, and with the junior high practicing, she has familiar faces to run with.”

Stuart is also the coach of the junior high program at Melcher-Dallas and with the junior high runners around she can better manage everyone’s workout.
