The Marion County Humane Society will hold its annual vendor show today. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase handmade crafts from local vendors, participate in a raffle, and enjoy a barbeque meal. Board President Leslie Vander Linden says the proceeds will benefit the efforts of the Marion County Humane Society.

“We’re hoping to be able to put some money toward vet bills and our fence that we need about $2,000 for. It goes toward a lot of animal care and things that need to be fixed in our building too.”

The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Marion County Humane Society in Knoxville.
