Pella Historical Society and Museums are gearing up to celebrate the completion of a signature piece of the Forging our Future Campaign with a special event this month.

Assistant Director of Pella Historical Society Jessi Vos says Wyatt Earp days are coming on September 24th and 25th to the Pella Historical Village. In lieu of the traditional fall festival, the two-day event will not only bring artisans back to the village, Vos says Saturday the 25th will be a full celebration of Wyatt Earp and his life in Pella and beyond.

A mustache contest and other community activities will also be part of the celebration.
