The #12 in 4A Pella volleyball team used an aggressive serving attack and balanced offense to make short work of Newton in a 3-0 sweep (25-17, 25-13, 25-16) Tuesday night.

A dozen aces were attained by Dutch servers, including four from Anna Vander Waal and two each from Bailey Van Voorst and Abby Warner. Four Pella athletes had at least five kills, including Van Voorst (7), Jasmine Namminga (6), Avey Amelse and Meridith Rowe (5 each).

Pella improves to 12-3 overall and 2-1 in conference action; the girls are next competing at the Ballard Volleyball Invitational Saturday.
