The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. They approved a Class C liquor license with Sunday sales at the Gathering Ground in Bussey. They approved a courthouse ground special event application amendment for Girls Night Out hosted by Knoxville Hospital & Clinics, which will allow for expanded vendor space. They rescinded the action of the supervisors meeting on October 14th, 1976, where a petition was accepted to exempt the town of Pershing from zoning ordinances. They approved a pavement rehabilitation project on County Highway G76 within Attica. The board also held a closed session.

The next Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will be October 12th at 9:00 a.m.
