Indianola residents will have a chance to hear from both candidates for Indianola Mayor and several Indianola City Council candidates at upcoming forums next week. Indianola Mayor candidate Stephanie Erickson and incumbent Mayor Pam Pepper will be featured in a forum on Tuesday, October 5th, while both at-large candidates, Randy Bickham and Steve Richardson, will be featured in a forum on Thursday, October 7th. Both forums will be moderated by Amy Duncan, and held at the Black Box Theater in the Kent Campus Center on the Simpson College campus beginning at 7pm, and broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA.

Ward 2 and 4 candidates will have a forum on Monday, October 11th in the community room at Trinity United Presbyterian Church beginning at 7pm, broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA.

The forums are sponsored by the American Association of University Women, the Simpson College John C. Culver Public Policy Center, the Indianola Independent Advocate, and KNIA/KRLS Radio.
