The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday. The meeting began with a mayoral proclamation of National Fire Prevention week, urging the people of Knoxville to “Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety” for Fire Prevention Week 2021 and to support the many public safety activities and efforts of Knoxville fire and emergency services. The council also approved the first consideration of a community and economic development position.

The next Knoxville City Council meeting will be October 18th at 6:15 p.m.
