The #5 (4A) Norwalk football team looks to remain undefeated in district play when they hit the road to Perry tonight. Norwalk enters 2-0 in District 5 and is 5-1 overall after a statement victory over Indianola in Week 6. The Bluejays have struggled mightily this season, entering 0-6 overall. The program has not won a game since 2017. Head Coach Paul Patterson says the keys for tonight are taking care of business while staying healthy, and being mindful of the greater good in Iowa high school football.
Tonight’s game will be shortened due to injuries in Perry’s program. The first quarter will be 12 minutes, and the remaining three quarters will be eight minutes long. Jon Mohwinkle and Dawson Livingston will call the action on KNIA3, with the opening kickoff from Dewey Field in Perry scheduled for 7:00.
