PCM’s volleyball squad will finish their regular season tonight as they travel to Heart of Iowa Conference foe South Hamilton.

The Mustangs come into their final match of the season with an 11-22 record, including a 2-4 record in Heart of Iowa Conference play. PCM has lost three of their last five matches, including getting swept in straight sets by West Marshall last Tuesday. PCM beat South Hamilton in their lone matchup last year three sets to one. Before that match, PCM lost their last eight matchups with the Hawks. Coach Mike Vittetoe says that the biggest strength of his team is their serve-receives.

“I think overall our serve receives have been pretty good. We have a couple of girls that are solid in that. We did have a couple breakdowns throughout the year but overall I’d say that’s been an area of improvement over last year. We are not giving up so many aces.”

The match at South Hamilton High School will begin at 6:30 PM.
