The Pride of Indianola Marching Band competed in the Iowa High School Music Association State Marching Band Festival at Waukee Saturday, in addition to performing at the Waukee Invitational later in the day. The band was awarded a Division I – Superior rating in the state competition, their 8th Division I rating in a row at the contest. The band then scored a 77.8 to place 7th later in the evening, just three points away from a 3rd place finish. The Color Guard was 4th in 4A. The competitions wrap up the competitive season for the marching band.
