PCM’s cross country squad will return to familiar territory in Williamsburg for their state-qualifying meet tonight.
The Mustangs’ girls are coming off finishing fifth in the Heart of Iowa Conference meet on October 11, finishing ahead of Saydel, Perry, and Greene County. PCM’s top finisher for the girls was Paige Steenhoek, who finished sixth overall individually with a time of 22:03. The Mustangs rounded out the top three with Tiffani Koonce and Makayla True. PCM’s boys’ top finisher in the meet was Kyle Sanders, who placed 40th with a time of 21:10. Carson Taylor and Jacob Buys rounded out the top three for the Mustangs’ boys. In the state-qualifying meet, PCM will be one of two Heart of Iowa Conference teams competing in the meet, the other being West Marshall.
The meet at the Williamsburg Recreation Center will begin at 4:00 PM.
