PCM’s volleyball squad had one member make first team all-Heart Of Iowa conference, who was senior Chelsea Bird.
The Mustangs’ senior led the team in both kills and digs with 177 digs and 172 kills. Bird’s hitting efficiency was also third on the team behind Emily Foster and Joslin Briles with .083. Bird averaged just over five kills and five digs per match. Bird was the only Mustang that had more than 100 kills and one of four Mustangs that had over 100 digs. Bird was also fourth on the team in successful serves with 185. The senior also was fifth on the team in aces with 17.
PCM finished the season with a 12-22 record, a 3-4 Heart of Iowa Conference record, and a first-round playoff loss to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
