Several local volleyball players earned All-Little Hawkeye Conference honors this fall.

Seniors Bailey Van Voorst and Avey Amelse of Pella were 1st team selections for the Dutch. Bailey is now a three-time first team honoree, while Amelse is a two-time first team selection after earning the recognition last fall for Pella Christian. Van Voorst was 3rd in conference matches this year in hitting efficiency (.237) and 3rd in service aces (19), and her 91 digs and 91 kills both ranked 5th. Avey’s 73 kills were 8th most in the LHC this fall, and her 75 digs were 11th most.
Indianola Senior Lauren Blake is now a three-time first team selection, and now has been honored with Little Hawkeye Conference postseason awards in all four seasons of her career. Blake led the conference with 21 aces against conference opponents, and her 108 kills were 3rd most with the 2nd best hitting efficiency in the league (.241). Teammate Brynn Bishop also was on the first team, as her 80 digs were 9th most in conference matches.
Sarah Gritters and Natalie Harrill of Pella Christian were first team selections in 2021. Gritters was a 2nd team honoree in 2020. Gritters had a hitting percentage of .203, 5th best in the LHC, and her 124 kills were 2nd only to Faith DeRonde. Harrill tallied 98 digs as a libero and 111 successful serves, 5th most in the league.
Norwalk’s Abbi Brenizer was a 1st team honoree. Her 105 kills and .211 kill efficiency rate both ranked 4th in conference matches this year.

Anna Vander Waal, Pella (three-time selection) – led the LHC in assists and assists per set (266, 9.8)
Jasmine Namminga, Pella (two-time selection) – led the LHC in blocks (19)
Kailey Peters, Indianola – 2nd in the LHC in blocks (19)
Camryn McKay, Norwalk – 3rd in the LHC in digs (104)
Noelle Sutcliffe, Norwalk – 2nd in the LHC in digs (107)
