Along with the football team’s victory over Dubuque Saturday, two other teams opened their seasons.

The wrestling team had nine wrestlers place in the Pointer Open in Stevens Point, WI Saturday. The men’s basketball team opened its season with a 77-67 overtime loss at home to Bethany Lutheran.

In action Monday is the women’s basketball team, as they travel to Grinnell for the season opener. The Pioneers enter 1-0 after a 71-34 win over Central Christian College of the Bible Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. inside Darby Gymnasium in Grinnell.
