Norwalk Boys Cross Country head coach Chad Larson has been named an Iowa Association of Track Coach Class 4A Cross Country At-large Coach of the Year.

Larson guided the Warriors to three first place finishes this season, including a conference championship. At the state qualifier, the Warriors placed second, earning the team a trip to state. At state, Norwalk placed sixth.

Larson was one of five boys coaches in Class 4A recognized with the at-large honor. The state coach of the year was Tim Ives of Dowling Catholic.
