The Knoxville Elementary PTO is taking donations for its winter gear drive. Organizer Daphne Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News this is to collect winter items, such as hats, gloves, boots and snowpants for children ages 4-11 in need at Northstar and West Elementary.

Donations of new or gently used items will be accepted at the following drop off locations through November 20th:

The Coffee Connection
Knoxville Public Library
Northstar and West Elementary

Donations will be distributed to students in need during the week of Thanksgiving.
