The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday. The meeting started with new council member Dawn Rankin being administered the oath of office. She’ll serve for two years of a vacated term. They approved the transfer of funds between the Iowa Department of Human Services and the Fire Department, allowing participation in the Ground Emergency Medical Transportation Uncompensated Cost Reimbursement Program. They approved building codes related to vacancies and fire codes. They also voted to extend the 28E agreement with Knoxville Schools on the school resource officer program for three years.
The next Knoxville City Council meeting will be December 6th.
