A groundbreaking event was held Wednesday morning at the future site of Kading Properties housing units just east of the Knoxville Walmart. Representatives from the company and Mayor Brian Hatch spoke briefly about this new development in town, which is scheduled to open in fall 2022. The project calls for 155 market rate housing units to be built.
