The Helping Hand of Warren County is offering holiday meals for those in need this November and December, with a choice of meat and sides. Executive Director Sue Wilson tells KNIA News there are a lot of choices to help accommodate everyone and make sure those in the community get a holiday dinner for their families.
“You get to choose between a ham, a turkey, a whole chicken, or a turkey breast, and several sides. So you can keep this meat frozen all the way through the holiday, and that will be available to all of the community through November and December. We purchase all the meat and the sides, and we just feel that it’s important for people to be able to celebrate the holidays.”
Wilson also said those looking for a holiday dinner can enter the pantry during normal operational hours, Tuesday from 12:30 to 2:30pm, Wednesday from 6-8pm, and Thursday and Saturday from 9-11am.
