Two board members were sworn in at Monday’s Knoxville School Board organizational meeting. New member Monica Sullivan and incumbent Larry Scott were administered the oath of office to begin the meeting. Cheri Gerdes was reelected as the board president. Larry Scott was reelected as vice president.

They approved an overnight trip request for the dance team to attend the state competition. They approved using the district’s nutrition fund to purchase kitchen bakery equipment from Rapids Foodservice Contract & Design in the amount of $11,152.00. The board approved an early retirement package, with stipulation that employees notify the district by December 30th. They approved a switch from JMC to Infinite Campus as the district’s student information system. They also appointed members to the following committees:
