The Norwalk girls basketball team started their season on the right foot Monday evening, defeating ADM 51-38 in non-conference action.

The Warriors were dominant defensively in the first quarter, jumping out to a 12-2 advantage. The Tigers found their stride in the second quarter, getting to within 29-20 at the break. But Norwalk pulled away in the third and coasted to the victory in the fourth.

Norwalk moves to 1-0 overall, and returns to action next Tuesday at home against Ballard.
