A warm start to today with readings in the 40s and 50s this morning. A cold front will enter the state today and will bring gusty northwest winds and steady to falling temperatures once the boundary passes through. Much of the southeast half of Iowa will remain in the 50s to near 60 through this morning though the cold front will be near the Interstate 35 corridor by noon. Sky conditions will be mostly cloudy. The gusty northwest wind will usher in much colder temperatures overnight. Wind chill values early Thanksgiving morning will be in the single digits and teens. High temperatures Thursday will only be in the 20s and 30s. Temperatures will be a bit warmer for Friday and into the weekend. Outside of some very light rain or very light snow chances Saturday afternoon over northern Iowa, conditions will remain dry through the period.
