Six Norwalk football players have earned all-state recognition from the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association and Iowa Football Coaches Association.
Dillon Ranck, 2nd team WR
Maddux Borcherding-Johnson, 2nd team DL
Justus Williams, 2nd team DB
Braeden Carlson, 3rd team WR
Noah Mulford, 3rd team OL
Ky Pearson, 3rd team DB
Ranck was ninth in Class 4A with 718 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Borcherding-Johnson had 36.5 tackles and 11 TFL’s. Williams had a team-leading 62 tackles and three interceptions.
Carlson tied for the eighth most touchdown receptions in 4A with seven, with 640 yards. Pearson was second on the team with 54.5 tackles, three fumble recoveries, three interceptions, and three defensive touchdowns.
Norwalk finished 6-4 overall.
