The Central basketball teams had their first road doubleheader of the season, and dropped two games to Dubuque, as aired on KRLS3. Despite holding a lead after the first quarter, the Dutch women fell behind and couldn’t mount a comeback, falling to the Spartans 65-53.

The Central men held their own for a good portion, and only trailed by four at the half. However, a late rally by Dubuque was enough for the Spartans to come out on top 76-58.

The wrestling team placed fourth in a field of 17 at the MSOE Invitational. Highlighting the day was Brock Beck’s title at 141.
