Over the last few weeks, Knoxville High School musicians have been preparing for the upcoming winter concert. Band Director Meredith Tipping says all the musicians got a head start, and will join together December 20th for an entertaining show.

“We actually started as soon as marching band was done in the end of October, we dove right into Christmas music, which is a little early for some people. The concert is coming up here in a couple weeks. We have a lot of good tunes this year, some traditional things, a couple of unique pieces in there as well that the kids have had fun working on.”

It’ll feature the concert band, jazz band, and both choirs. The concert is two weeks away in the Knoxville Performing Arts Center.
