The Knoxville High School Dance Team brought home hardware from last week’s state competition. Coach Devin Dunkin tells KNIA/KRLS News the team worked hard all season to present their best at the ISDTA Dance Championships and it paid off.
The Third Place finish in Class IX Pom was Knoxville’s highest pom placement since 2013. They received the Academic Excellence award for a team GPA of 3.49. They also received the Outstanding Community Service Award for their dedication to making Knoxville an amazing place to call home.
Dunkin says she’s proud of the girls and all their hard work on and off the floor to make this season a success, and they’re looking forward to the year-end showcase on January 29th.
