A Knoxville man has been arrested after allegedly entering a house in Pleasantville and stealing a vehicle. At 11:27 Saturday evening, a Pleasantville officer was dispatched to the 300 block of W Monroe Street for the report of a stolen vehicle.

The defendant, identified as 22-year-old Jordan Ryan Pope, allegedly entered the home, and took the keys of a vehicle Pope did not have permission or consent to take the vehicle.

Pope was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle without owner’s consent and 2nd degree burglary, a Class C felony. Bond is set at $7,000, and a preliminary hearing will be held December 22nd.
