Families from Pella and nearby towns enjoyed horse-drawn carriage rides in downtown Pella Saturday morning at no cost to them. Kading sponsored two hours of rides to celebrate the View Pointe opening last Thursday. In two hours, Kading Properties paid for 265 people to ride on the Plume Hill Carriages.

“We are so very happy to be part of the Pella community. Kading chose to partner with the Pella Area Community & Economic Alliance (PACE Alliance) as a great way to enjoy the Christmas season. It was a huge success,” said Kading Properties Vice President of Operations, Heather Burns. Burns handed out candy canes and cookies to children after the rides.

The PACE Alliance held a ribbon cutting for the newly opened View Pointe Condominiums by Kading last Thursday. The 92 units in the View Pointe Condominiums by Kading are located at 1911 West 16th Street in Pella.

City council member Liz Sporrer and her husband, Brian, were two of the Pella residents taking advantage of the Kading Carriage rides. “We are happy that Kading is in Pella. Kading is providing new, workforce housing that is very much needed to help grow our community,” said At Large Councilwoman Sporrer.

Kading is a 45-year-old, family-owned professional real estate development and property management company. Kading serves more than 20 Iowa communities with market rate workforce housing.
