The Pella Community Foundation Board of Directors approved 29 grants totaling $125,000 for 2022. Over its 31 year history, the Foundation has awarded $1,444,000 in grants.

Jim Brandl, president of the Foundation said, “This year our Board approved a grants budget of $125,000 and our Distribution Committee did a great job of sharing all these funds with 27 different local non-profit organizations. We were able to fund projects which touch a broad cross-section of people within our community.”

Two Impact grants totaling $40,000 were awarded to The Spirit of Pella committee and to Wesley Life – Hearthstone. These grants are intended to play a key role in providing significant funding for their projects which strengthen Pella by addressing major initiatives and promising opportunities. In addition 25 other non-profit organizations received Board Directed grants totaling $85,000.
