Two Knoxville High School juniors have been selected to participate in the American Legion Auxiliary Iowa Girls State next summer. Norah Pearson and Julian Bacon will participate in the week-long event, which teaches girls about the political process in a “learning by doing” format. Attendees will also learn about other ALA programs and hear from guest speakers.

American Legion Auxiliary Iowa Girls State is June 19th-24th, 2022 at Drake University in Des Moines.
