The Pella Christian boys basketball dominated in a complete team effort Monday Night against Pekin with a 64-30 victory to earn their fifth win of the season as heard live on 92.1 KRLS.

13 different Eagles saw action in the victory with 10 registering in the scoring column for Pella Christian. Aiden Stoltz knocked down four three-pointers in the first half, which gave him a team high 12 points, with Danny Andringa not far behind with 11 points. Eric Mulder added 10 points, while EJ Fransman and Levi Schelhaas scored nine. Senior guard Bennett Spronk said that the complete team effort helped build confidence ahead of their last game before the holiday break.

“I think this gives us a lot of confidence because as you may know this last week we’ve had a lot of guys sick, missing out on practices and games and stuff, so having almost everyone back is nice. Getting a nice big team win just gives us a lot of confidence going into tomorrow.”

The Eagles victory improved them to 5-1 on the season. Both the Pella Christian boys and girls basketball teams will be in action tonight against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. Tonight’s game can be heard live on the KRLS 2 stream at KNIAKRLS.com beginning with pregame coverage at 6pm.
