Her career was close to ending nearly one year ago, but now, a former Pella basketball standout has been competing at the NCAA Division I-level.
Kiara Bradley is a starter with the Kansas City Roos following an incredible career with William Jewell. Bradley is averaging 7.2 points per game in 13 starts as the Summit League conference season is now underway. With the Roos, she leads the team in minutes per game (32) and third on the squad in rebounds per game (7). Bradley is working on graduate school while competing this winter.
Prior to her transfer, Kiara was a three-time All-Conference selection with the NCAA Division II Cardinals, and was an All-American honorable mention in her final season, in which Bradley was in the top-10 in the conference in 17 statistical categories and set five new Jewell NCAA era records, including becoming the Cardinals’ all-time scoring leader with 1,269 points in only three seasons.
Kiara was a first team All-State girls basketball selection in her senior season at Pella High School and a third team All-State honoree as a junior, as she was a key member of the back-to-back state qualifying teams in 2016 and 2017. Bradley finished with 726 career points and 463 rebounds for the Dutch.
