PCM’s boys’ basketball squad has five wins so far this season, but they have yet to win against an opponent with a record above .500.

The Mustangs are currently 5-6 halfway through the season, but they are 0-6 against opponents with a winning record. PCM has lost to Montezuma, Nevada, Pella Christian, Greene County, North Mahaska, and Roland-Story. All of the Mustangs’ wins this season have been against teams with a losing record, who are Knoxville, Saydel, Perry, West Marshall, and East Marshall. With ten games remaining this season, PCM currently has four games remaining against teams with a winning record, who are Pella, Nevada, Greene County, and Roland-Story. The rest of PCM’s games are against Earlham, South Hamilton twice, Saydel, Perry, and West Marshall to end the year.

The Mustangs’ first matchup of the 2022 calendar year will be Monday at Earlham, with tip-off beginning at 7:30 PM.
