A winter weather advisory has been issued from 9 p.m. tonight through Wednesday morning. Blowing snow is likely as a strong cold front approaches the area, with wind gusts up to 40 MPH possible. Accumulation will be low but visibility is the main concern this evening.

Wind chills well below zero are expected over the next several days starting Wednesday morning and continuing through Saturday morning. The coldest stretch will be from Wednesday night through Friday morning.

A warmup returns to the region by the weekend.
