In their first meet of 2022, PCM’s wrestling squad came away with a sweep in a double dual with Saydel and Lynnville-Sully.

In their first match, the Mustangs knocked off Lynnville-Sully, 48-28. PCM came away with four victories by fall and four by forfeit. The Mustangs got wins by fall from Hewitt Brinegar at 132 lbs, Sawyer Boukamp at 138 lbs, Nate Richards at 170 lbs, and Donovan Nickelson at 195 lbs. The Mustangs then knocked off Saydel, nearly tripling them up 60-22. PCM had three wins by fall and seven by forfeit. The Mustangs’ wins by fall came from Jeffrey McDaniel at 152 lbs, Richards, and Kaden Clark at heavyweight. PCM’s dual record improves to 4-8 on the season.

PCM’s next meet will be their home tournament Saturday.
