The #5 Indianola girls basketball team will face yet another top five team tonight as they host #1 Glenwood for a girls only contest. The Indians are on a five-game winning streak and sit in a three-way tie for the Little Hawkeye Conference standings, while Glenwood has only one blemish on the season, a loss to 5A powerhouse #1 Johnston. Indians head coach Jeff Janssen tells KNIA Sports the Indians are a team of best friends, so he knows they will stick together and use their chemistry and teamwork to give other teams more than they can handle. The game can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner on the play-by-play. Pregame coverage begins at 6pm, with tip-off scheduled for 6:30.
