The Indianola Police Department has issued a warning of counterfeit bills being produced and possibly used in the area. A recent investigation in the Indianola area discovered two suspects printing counterfeit $20 bills in a hotel room. As of now, there has been no reported use in Indianola of counterfeit bills. The $20 counterfeit bills may all be marked with the same serial number, and if you encounter any counterfeit money you should notify the Indianola Police Department.
