The Pleasantville City Council met in regular session Tuesday. They approved mayoral and council appointments, appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commision, and the Board of Adjustments. The council also approved designating depository and authorizing officers, and transfers for the 2022 fiscal year. They approved licensed garbage haulers, the annual financial exam, and a tax abatement for 103 W Monroe St. The council tabled a resolution on a sewer adjustment 503 E Jasper St. They hired a city clerk and approved a supplemental agreement with Snyder & Associates to complete a Water Quality Initiative Grant. The council also approved a payout for the wastewater treatment plant digester.
