The Indianola School Board received a District Mental Health Plan update at their meeting Tuesday, with Superintendent Art Sathoff providing information on how the district is upgrading their mental health services for students and staff. Sathoff said he wants Indianola to be the model of a comprehensive mental health system.

“That is really getting students the services they need, staff the training they need, and working with local providers. We have really made great strides the last couple of years. We have three local providers providing onsite therapists available for our students, and I updated the board on the usage and the quality of the services which are very good.”
