On Valentine’s Day, the Knoxville Public Library will host special guest Angela Hiatt from Iowa PBS, to help with a Ramps & Pathways Stem Activity for Kindergarteners-6th graders. Youth Services Librarian Holly Shelford tells KNIA/KRLS News that the event will benefit the youth involved.
“The Stem activities, of course is just something that they highly promote in school, but it’s a fun way to learn a new skill and it’s just a fun and creative way always when you can do a hands-on program as opposed to sitting at a chair and having to listen or read about it. And so, there’s just many things that the children can reach out to do during that time.”
The Ramps & Pathways Stem Activity Program will be on February 14th from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
