On the day Pella celebrated its seniors, the Dutch defeated the Knoxville bowling teams Saturday, as the boys won 2718-2446, and the girls edged the Panthers 2026-2006.
On their highest scoring day of the season, Pella’s boys were led by a 424 two-game score from Ike Held, followed by Ben Steenhoek’s 384 and Jayden Divelbiss and his 373. Knoxville was paced by a 366 from Robert Sloan and Jaxson Willis at 363.
The girls matchup featured the Dutch edging the individual rounds by 14 pins and six in the baker games. Pella was led by a 300 two-game series from Maddie Schmitz and 281 from Anna DeNooy; the Panthers Paige Ludington led all girls with a 318, followed by Lilliana Mejia at 292.
