A new martial arts group in Pella is working to gain momentum through competition.
Pella Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been open since the fall of 2021, and earned five gold medals and two other top three finishes with four of their members in Des Moines.
Among those competing included Daniel Robbins, Matt Struecker, Matt Trout, and Rylen Priest.
