Warren County Conservation and Indianola Parks and Rec are partnering to host the McVay Trail Hidden Hearts Walk beginning next week. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News hearts of all different sizes and colors will be placed along the trail, and individuals and families can walk along the trail to find all of them. Kester also said if you find a heart to please leave it where it is so others can enjoy it, and there will be signs at the start and finish so you know when to look. The hearts will be on the trail from February 8th through the 21st, and participants are asked to share photos on social media with the #hiddenheartshike.
