The Norwalk Warriors will play host to the Grinnell Tigers today in a girl boy basketball doubleheader.
In the girls contest, Norwalk will try to push their current win streak to seven games as they host the Tigers who took down Norwalk by 21 back on January 7th. With just three games left in the regular season all against teams higher in the Little Hawkeye Conference standings, the Warriors will have the opportunity to show they are playing their best basketball of the season with postseason looming.
In the boys game, the Warriors will try to get back to.500 in the Little Hawkeye Conference against a Tiger squad currently winless in the conference and who the Warriors beat by nine in their first matchup. The Warriors will also be looking to push their current win streak to three games as they prepare for postseason play as well.
The Warriors and Tigers will tip things off from Norwalk tonight at 6:15 p.m. with the girls game first followed by the boys. You can hear all the action live on kniakrls.com via the KNIA3 stream with myself Nathan Sage and Chris Larsen on the call.
